Recognize yourself?

Signs you might benefit

You worked hard for your career and you're still in the process of building it. Your success shouldn't cost you your mental health, happiness, or joy. You don't need to check every box — if any of these resonate, you deserve to make space for yourself. Pushing through isn't enough. You deserve to live and thrive in your own resilience.

Intense fear of weight gain or preoccupation with food and body size
Restricting food or avoiding entire food groups out of fear
Cycles of bingeing followed by purging, restriction, or compensatory exercise
Avoidant or highly restrictive eating patterns (ARFID)
Eating in secret or feeling out of control around food
Distorted body image — seeing yourself differently than others see you
Using food, exercise, or restriction to manage difficult emotions
Co-occurring anxiety, depression, or medical complications
A sunlit breakfast table with an unhurried bowl of oatmeal, coffee, and wildflowers — food as nourishment, not performance

How we help

Our approach

Care is collaborative: we work alongside your dietitian, primary care physician, nutritionist, or personal trainer when appropriate. Sessions weave in psychoeducational coping skills and relapse prevention strategies. Our Health at Every Size® framework is weight-inclusive — body weight is never a treatment goal. Instead, we focus on your relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with all types of eating disorders?

Yes. We work with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), orthorexia, and disordered eating that doesn't meet full diagnostic criteria but is still significantly impacting your life. If you're unsure whether what you're experiencing 'counts,' it does — and we'd be glad to talk.

Can eating disorder therapy be done via telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth has been shown to be effective for eating disorder treatment, and for many clients it removes barriers that would otherwise prevent them from getting care. That said, we assess each client individually. If we feel you need a higher level of care — intensive outpatient, residential — we'll say so directly and help coordinate a referral.

Will my therapist push me to gain or lose weight?

No. We practice within a Health at Every Size framework, which means body weight is not a therapeutic goal in either direction. Our focus is on your relationship with food, your body, and yourself — not a number on a scale. We work collaboratively with you to define what recovery means for your life.

What if my eating disorder has been going on for many years?

Long-standing eating disorders absolutely respond to therapy — it often just requires more time, patience, and care. Recovery at any stage is possible. We won't minimize how hard this work is, but we also won't tell you it's too late or too entrenched to change. Many of our clients have found meaningful recovery after years of struggling.
