Telehealth therapy across Ohio

Anxiety Therapy in Ohio

You don't have to live in constant worry. Relief is possible.

Anxiety is more than feeling stressed — it can hijack your thoughts, disrupt your sleep, and keep you stuck in a loop of worst-case scenarios. At Resilient Wellness Ohio, our licensed therapists use evidence-based approaches to help you understand your anxiety, interrupt unhelpful patterns, and build real coping skills. Telehealth means you can access support from wherever you feel safest.

Recognize yourself?

Signs you might benefit

You worked hard for your career and you're still in the process of building it. Your success shouldn't cost you your mental health, happiness, or joy. You don't need to check every box — if any of these resonate, you deserve to make space for yourself. Pushing through isn't enough. You deserve to live and thrive in your own resilience.

Persistent worry that's hard to control
Racing thoughts, especially at night
Avoiding situations because of fear or dread
Physical symptoms like a tight chest, nausea, or headaches
Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
Irritability or feeling on edge most of the time
Panic attacks or sudden waves of intense fear
Overanalyzing conversations or obsessing over what people think
A rainy morning seen from inside a warm room — steaming tea, an open notebook, the calm after racing thoughts settle

How we help

Our approach

We draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — two of the most well-researched treatments for anxiety. Rather than just teaching you to 'calm down,' we help you examine the thought patterns and avoidance behaviors that keep anxiety going. You'll leave sessions with practical tools you can use the same day, not just insight about why you feel the way you do.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can therapy help if I've tried it before and it didn't work?

Absolutely. A previous experience that wasn't helpful often comes down to fit — the therapist's approach, the modality used, or the timing. We'll be upfront about what we're doing and why, and if something isn't working, we'll adjust. You deserve a therapist who checks in with you, not just one who nods along.

Do I need a diagnosis to start anxiety therapy?

No. You don't need a formal anxiety diagnosis to benefit from therapy. If you feel like worry or fear is getting in the way of your life, that's enough reason to reach out. We'll work together to understand what's going on and whether a diagnosis would be useful for you.

Is telehealth as effective as in-person therapy for anxiety?

Yes — research consistently shows that telehealth therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person sessions for anxiety disorders. For many clients, being in their own space actually reduces the activation that an office visit can create, making it easier to do the real work.
