  • I guide my practice through the belief that we, as humans, are all doing the best we can with the resources we currently have present in our lives. I strongly value the principles of autonomy, acceptance, and compassion when working with clients, viewing you as the expert of your life.

  • I primarily utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in my practice and have 5+ years of experience working with and teaching these skills.

  • Through compassion and understanding, we can collaboratively explore coping skills, goals, and your inherent strengths to help navigate the stressors of life together.

  • Collarbaotive treatment with any outside providers you may want me to coordinate care with. The client portal allows for HIPAA secure communication, booking efficiency, and tracking billing transactions in an organized manner.

After your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a link to your HIPAA secure client portal, next complete your new client paperwork. You can choose to opt-in for text message, email, or voicemail appointment reminders.

  • I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, young adults, and parents. I am passionate about providing high-quality clinical care to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, borderline personality disorder, school avoidance, behavioral concerns, and life transitions.

    Additionally, I am passionate about working with individuals who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community and practice affirmative therapy to advocate for the needs of sexual and gender minority clients.

  • I have experience working in private practice, hospital settings, and intensive outpatient programs. Additionally, I have years of experience providing group supervision to counselor trainees and new professionals, as well as experience providing individual clinical and administrative supervision.

    I also enjoy my role as an adjunct professor in graduate school programs, often teaching classes on ethics in counseling, diagnosis and psychopathology, and clinical evaluation. Finally, I am passionate about advocating for the needs of clients in public policy and am often involved in community and state-level organization efforts that aim to increase accessibility to mental health services for clients.

  • I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, young adults, and parents in individual and group settings. I have 5+ years of experience providing clinical care to individuals struggling with mood disorders, behavioral disorders, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, self-harm, borderline personality disorder, school avoidance, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a supervisee, I seek to increase your confidence in working with high-risk populations, and utilizing DBT as a therapeutic modality.

    I utilize a developmental and collaborative style of supervision to empower supervisees to utilize DBT in their clinical practice. In supervision, I will help you navigate the ethical and legal aspects of the field, engage in role plays, conceptualize cases, and review standards of care. I am available to meet with you as frequently as needed to ensure you are on track toward your licensing requirements. Additionally, I am available for emergency case consultation outside of our scheduled supervision to ensure you are providing ethical care in high-risk situations.

  • I have served in clinical, administrative, supervisory, and leadership roles in numerous settings, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), hospitals, private practices, and agencies. I have numerous years of experience providing individual and group supervision to new professionals and counselor trainees, as well as mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, I am an adjunct professor at John Carroll University and often teach Crisis Intervention, Prevention, & Ethics; Clinical Evaluation; and Diagnosis & Clinical Psychopathology classes. Serving as an educator is a passion of mine, so you will often find me presenting on DBT, ethics, telehealth, and supervision-related topics at state and national conferences. I also serve as a leader in the Ohio Association for Specialists in Group Work and am involved in Ohio Counseling Association. Finally, I am passionate about advocating for the needs of clients in public policy and am often involved in community and state-level organization efforts that aim to increase accessibility to mental health services for clients.
